The Biological Museum of Turku has been reopened with a fresh and inviting look. Vintage will charm at the Kurala Village Festival, and the colourful knit graffiti event Knit’n’Tag will take over the Main Library block in the springtime. The Orchestra's request concerts will play Verdi and Stravinsky.

The Culture Card is a free-of-charge benefit card for lovers of culture. This unique card gets you e-mail updates about Turku’s abundant cultural offerings and ever-changing range of benefits and offers.

Cards available at libraries

The Culture Card feature can be added to a library card of the Turku City Library and the Vaski libraries of Southwest Finland at any Vaski library (www.vaskikirjastot.fi).

Cultural tips and offers straight to your inbox

You will receive all the benefits upon presentation of the card. The Culture Card is an electronic service in the informing of the card holders. 

Culture Card Newsletters are sent out approximately twice a month. The English version of Culture Card newsletter can be accessed through the link ‘in English’ on top of the newsletter.

As a Culture Card holder, you can create your own culture profile online with your personal preferences, helping you to get more information about the kinds of cultural services that interest you most.

You can create a profile by selecting the link ‘Personal Details’ on a Culture Card Newsletter.You can also easily edit your information in the ‘Personal Details’ section.
