Health and Well-being

The Faculty of Health and Well-being educates future professionals to work in the field of health care and social services. The starting point for our teaching activities is innovation pedagogy , a learning approach emphasizing multidisciplinary, experimental and practice-oriented learning.

Thousands of social and health care professionals develop their competence through our continuing education. Our services and products are tailored on the basis on the specific needs of each customer, with the aim of developing the competence of the customer organization through our multidisciplinary expertise.

The Faculty of Health and Well-being is happy to welcome exchange students from the partner institutions. We offer modules in English in all our degree programmes. For further information about the courses available for exchange students, please see here.

The mission of our research groups is to find new solutions to promote health and well-being during the entire lifespan.

We are one of the actors of the  Health Campus Turku ,  a significant multidisciplinary education cluster formed by four higher education institutions and a university hospital. The cluster offers an inspiring operating environment for studies, research, innovations and corporate collaboration.
