How to Find Us

Turku UAS has campuses in Turku and Salo. Both cities are conveniently located in the southwestern part of Finland, and easy to reach.

Turku and Salo has an efficient public transportation system, and longer distances can be covered in the comfort of long-distance buses and trains. In addition, there is an international airport and passenger ferry harbor in Turku.

By plane

Turku Airport

The easiest way to travel to Turku is by plane. There are regular connections to Turku from Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Gdansk, Riga and Alicante. 

From Turku Airport it is easy to travel to the city centre by taxi (airport - city centre 20–25€) or by local bus.

Helsinki Airport

If your flight takes you to Helsinki, you can travel easily to Turku by bus from the Helsinki Airport. The long-distance bus from leaves just in front of the terminal.

By ferry

You can travel to Turku by sea. Ferries between Turku and Stockholm run twice a day, and between Tallinn and Helsinki several times a day. Check the timetables at

There are regular intercity train and bus connections between Turku, Salo and other major cities in Finland. Salo is located between Turku and Helsinki, and it is easy to reach from both cities.

Buses and trains between Turku and Helsinki run every hour. Both bus and train stations are centrally located in the city.
