The international SHIFT Business Festival is organized on 29–30 August at Ruissalo Shipyard. At the event, TUAS will present the Cyber Test Lab, which encourages companies to increase their preparedness for fighting cyber threats.

SHIFT, now organized for the fourth time, brings together thousands of future and technology oriented business leaders from Finland and abroad. The theme of this year’s SHIFT is Shapeshifting Intelligence. The programme covers outlooks on intelligence and its applications in business.

TUAS explores the theme from the perspective of cyber security. The cyber security laboratory, which is presented at TUAS’ stand, exemplifies cyber threats by e.g. demonstrating how easily the operation of a surveillance camera, an electric lock or a health technology product can be tampered with, if cyber security has not been ensured.

Cyber security is a theme around which you can build business, but also something that can significantly damage a company’s operational preconditions if it’s missing. TUAS’ Cyber Test Lab provides services for industry and companies, which develop e.g. IoT products.  

In addition to cyber security expertise, TUAS’ stand features other services aimed at companies, such as cooperation offers related to research and development and opportunities for cooperation in terms of premises and devices and for utilizing educational services.
