Co-operation with Tianjin Chengjian University
A delegation from Tianjin Chengjian University visited TUAS last Friday, October 10th, 2014. The university is located in Tianjin, which is the twin city of Turku in China.
The two universities are planning to cooperate actively e.g. in terms of student and teacher exchanges and language and cultural exchange activities, especially with the Faculty of Technology, Environment and Business at TUAS.
The visitors weere introduced to the studies and RDI in the degree programme in construction engineering and innovation pedagogy. Degree Programme Manager Tero Reunanen led the delegation to visit also the Machine Technology Centre Turku Ltd.
As a result of the visit Juhani Soini, the Vice-rector of TUAS, signed a cooperation agreement with the President of Tianjin Chengjian University, Mr. Li Zhongxian.
