TUAS hosted the eMed-PASS project meeting

We had the pleasure to host the eMed-PASS project meeting at TUAS Kupittaa campus. Eight teachers and international coordinators from Estonia (Tartu Health Care College), Latvia (P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia) and Lithuania (Kauno Kolegija University of Applied Sciences) participated in the meeting.

An international seminar arranged by the Faculty of Health and Well-being at TUAS gathered together almost 30 guests from different countries. The seminar, organized on 1–3 October, was primarily aimed at Master’s level students.

Turku Summer School hosted a record number of participants

Turku Summer School, which was jointly organized by Turku University of Applied Sciences, the University of Turku and Study in Turku, attracted a record-breaking 83 students from over 20 different countries to summery Turku.

Students say the best part of Turku Summer School was working life oriented learning

Turku Summer School offered students around the world a chance to take different courses, such as the “Smart Sustainable Cities” arranged by Turku University of Applied Sciences. Turku Summer School was arranged by Turku University of Applied Sciences and the University of Turku together with the Study in Turku organization.

Longer opening hours in Lemminkäisenkatu campus library started August 27th 2018

Lemminkäisenkatu campus library have had longer opening hours from the beginning of the fall term. Starting August 27th 2018 the library has been open for self-service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Significant EU funding for renewing sales education at Indonesian and Thai universities

The sales education at higher education institutions in Indonesia and Thailand will be developed with the help of a joint European project. The project coordinated by Turku University of Applied Sciences received EUR 1M funding from the EU Erasmus+ programme for education development.

Welcome New Exchange Students to Turku and Salo

The Turku area welcomes almost 1 000 exchange students again this autumn. At TUAS, we will have over 200 exchange students from all over the world. In addition to Erasmus+ students, there are a growing number of students from Japan, China and Brazil.
