Papyrus – Professional Action and Practice for Youth Refugees and Asylum Seekers

The Papyrus project develops the competence of those working with migrant youth. The primary target group of the project is youth workers and those studying towards the profession.

Objectives and activities of the project

  • To raise the standards of youth work around working with asylum seekers and refugees
  • To actively involve youth workers and beneficiaries in the production of training materials
  • To produce a dedicated webpage for online learning and sharing

Main results of the project

  • Mapping Report on Youth Work Practices with Refugees and Asylum Seekers across Europe
  • Training kit modules on:
    • Multicultural understandings and working in Multicultural Environments with Youth Refugees
    • Social inclusion of Refugee Families and Young People
    • Socioeconomic Empowerment of Youth Refugees
    • Providing Psychosocial support for Youth Refugees
    • Abuse Prevention and Safeguarding of Youth Refugees and Asylum Seekers
