The project aims at producing a review of the use and practices of Swedish as a Nordic-Baltic business lingua franca. The project will also develop and implement an e-learning module in Business Swedish for higher education in Nordic and Baltic countries. The virtual e-learning package will be tested and implemented in multicultural and multidisciplinary groups where students from four participating universities together gain new perspectives on the topic studied.

The intellectual outcomes of the project consist of a research review on the use and practices of Swedish as business lingua franca, a virtual e-learning course package, a virtual learning game and a web portal where the produced material will be available for open access. The material will be adaptable to different levels of education, both formal and non-formal, as well as continuing education and staff training in companies.
