Significant demographical developments and changes in lifestyles, global health risks and alarmingly growing health inequalities produce new, considerable challenges to future societies. There is a growing need for justified, research-based and ethically solid contents and methods of health promotion. Customer-oriented, national and international multiprofessional collaboration is essential.

The aim of the research group is to act as a multiprofessional group of experts in the field of health promotion and to develop new, diversified, research-based, ethically solid contents and methods for health promotion. The research group works actively with local, national and international collaborators.
