Turku UAS Master school is aimed at professionals with working life experience. At Master School, you will develop your leadership and management skills as well as your professional competence in your field. Upon graduation from Turku UAS Master School, you will have a UAS Master's degree. You can apply for Master studies after gaining two years of work experience.
Studies tailored just for you
Turku UAS Master School provides tools for the development of expertise and your own competence; you decide how to use them. You can study flexibly while working full-time, from anywhere in Finland.
Networking with experts from different fields plays an important part in the Master studies. During the studies, you will network with experts from your own field and other fields, and will gain access to Turku UAS’ international Master-level network.
You will also get to develop working life with learning tasks and your thesis, either in your own organization or in Turku UAS’ research and development projects.
The Master school degree programmes are divided in two paths: in the degree programmes in the School of Leadership Excellence, you will develop as a leader or manager and in the School of Professional Excellence, you will develop your expertise to a demanding expert level.
Schools of Leadership Excellence and Professional Excellence
The School of Leadership Excellence provides you an opportunity to develop as a leader and manager. During the studies, you will tackle challenges in the management work in your field and future operational environments. Upon graduation, you will have developed and renewed working life, created new networks and acquired abilities to work in demanding management positions.
From the educational supply of the School of Leadership Excellence, you can select an education which focuses on management studies in your own field, or a more extensive management education aimed at experts from different fields.
The School of Professional Excellence offers you an opportunity to develop your current competence to a demanding expert level. During the studies, you will tackle challenges in your own field of specialization. Upon graduation, you will have developed and renewed working life, created new knowledge for your field and acquired tools to progress in your career.
The supply of the School of Professional Excellence consists of education aimed at professionals in the fields of culture, business administration, engineering and health and well-being.

Master’s degrees from universities of applied sciences
From Turku UAS Master School, you will graduate with a Master’s degree. UAS Master’s degrees are at a similar level (EQF 7) as Master’s degrees completed at universities, and yield a similar qualification for e.g. public posts .
1 000 Master students – a community of 10 000 experts
Turku UAS’ Master School hosts 1000 experts in four different fields: culture, business administration and engineering and social services and health care. In total, Turku University of Applied Sciences is a community of 10 000 experts.
