Nurse is an indipendent expert
A Registered Nurse has the ability to implement and to develop health care work which is simultaneously health promoting and health maintaining, prevents illnesses and provides a treatment for them, and provides rehabilitation. A nurse works as an independent expert in health care when nursing patients and at the same time implementing the medical care of the patient prescribed by a physician. A nurse supports the resources of individuals in different stages of life and those of a community, and helps individuals to face up to illness, disability and death. A nurse works in co-operation with different professional groups.
The education of registered nurses is defined by the EU directive 2005/36/EC. A person who has completed the degree will be granted status of Registered Nurse as a legalised health care professional. More Information: The extent of the studies: 210 ECTS ( 3,5 years)
