Welcome to celebrate World Teachers' Day
The University of Turku, Åbo Akademi and Turku University of Applied Sciences are organising a pedagogical seminar on World Teachers' Day, 5.10.2022.
On HEI Teacher Day we will focus on current pedagogical issues and celebrate together every teacher in the world. The free seminar is aimed at Turku's higher education professionals.
The first 100 registrants can participate.
Themes of the seminar:
The theme of the HEI Teacher Day is teacher well-being. What does the everyday life of a university teacher look like after more than two years of pandemic?
The programme includes both 15-minute parallel sessions and 45-minute workshops.
The keynote speech will focus on stress, well-being and self-compassion among teachers. The keynote will be given by Professor Mari Murtonen from the University of Turku and Liisa Postareff, Associate Professor at the University of Helsinki.
