Entrepreneurship and health...

...as the themes of TUAS’ Excellence Week. TUAS' Excellence Week will take place in Turku on Lemminkäisenkatu, Joukahaisenkatu and Ruiskatu and on the Salo campus on 4–8 April 2016.

Dozens of guests from European partner universities will participate in the week. The visitors will give expert lectures, get to know the activities of the research groups, TUAS’ learning environments and businesses in the Turku region.

The lectures are divided on the campuses according to the fields of education, so if you're in-terested in a specific field, it'll be easy to find the lectures:

“Expert lectures from different fields within social and health care will take place on Ruiskatu from Tuesday till Thursday. For example on Tuesday, we’ll have an interesting workshop titled Health Promotion and Social Inclusion and on Thursday, the topic of the workshop will be Social and Health Care Services”, says International Relations Coordinator Hanna Peussa.

“Lectures on entrepreneurship and digitalisation will take place on Lemminkäisenkatu and Joukahaisenkatu, from Tuesday till Thursday. On Tuesday, the guests get to participate in an Innopeda workshop to get to know the operational methods of TUAS and innovation pedagogy, for increasing the number of future professionals and in the long run, the competitiveness of businesses", says International Relations Officer Päivi Oliva.

On Wednesday 6 April in Salo, lectures will be given on both health care and entrepreneurship. The lectures are open for the general public, and will take place in the auditoriums on Ylhäistentie. At the same time, there is also a chance to get to know the innovative learning environments in Salo, for example BusinessAcademy.
