Thank you for the good cooperation in 2016

The fast-paced year 2016 at Turku University of Applied Sciences has almost come to an end. I would like to thank all our cooperation partners for the active development, which has been in demand in the positive structural change of our region.

This year at TUAS, we have actively built the technical innovation university of the future and developed the well-being of the region and its residents. At the core of our operations is innovation pedagogy, which has helped us to bring both our students and staff even closer to working life than before. As one of our roles, we consider acting as a community which inspires the entire region and is constantly able to support the ongoing growth.

The mission of Turku University of Applied Sciences is to improve the working life, well-being and competitiveness of Southwest Finland. It is work that we cannot do by ourselves, but in the thousands of encounters with our partners. The bigger the interaction network around us, the better we can influence the future success of our region. That’s why it has been a pleasure to witness the expansion of our partner network and the constant deepening of our cooperation.

I wish all our cooperation partners peaceful holidays and after that, an even more fast-paced growth year 2017. The 10,000 members of the TUAS community wish to intensify the partnerships even more and be involved in developing Turku as an attractive European city of universities and culture and a city that boldly renews itself – a good place to live and succeed together. We are active in establishing Southwest Finland as a region of cooperation and partnership, where the quality of life is the best in Finland.

Let’s make next year a success story to remember – all the way to the 200th birthday celebrations of Finland!
