In Turku Sales Competition was sold Viestintäliiga

Turku University of Applied Sciences organized 13th Turku Sales Competition on November 18-19 at Lemminkäisenkatu campus. The winner of the fall 2019 Turku Sales Competition is Tobias Gundermann from Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences.

In the sales competition, competitors from Germany, Austria, Finland, France, Spain and Lithuania demonstrated their level of sales skills. At the Turku Sales Competition, each competitor has 20 minutes to discuss sales with the buyer, in front of the judges. During the sales negotiation, the seller's goal is to convince the buyer of the product being sold. The Autumn 2019 product was Viestintäliiga's social marketing campaign (viestintaliiga.fi). Students get detailed product information from the company, and based on that they need to be able to create value and need for the customer, the buyer of the sales conversation. Sales situations are simulated and have role-play roles for the seller and the buyer.

In the fall of 2019, thirty-five competitors competed in a three-stage competition. The competition culminated in the final of Tuesday afternoon, which was held in front of the live audience at Auditorium Lemminkäinen.

The winner of the fall 2019 Turku Sales Competition is Tobias Gundermann from Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences. Second place was Boris Zandstra, third place was Anja Senkmüller and fourth place was Pinar Sahbaz. All other finalists are exchange students of Turku University of Applied Sciences.
