The number of applicants for Turku UAS’ English-language programmes increasedThe spring’s first joint application to higher education institutions ended last week, on 19 January. The number of applicants grew in all English-language degree programmes of Turku University of Applied Sciences compared to the previous year.

Joint application to English-language programmes to startThe first joint application period of the spring, to Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes conducted in English, starts today on 5 January, and will end on 19 January. In the joint application this spring, Turku UAS offers five degree programmes.

European Sales Competition with its coaching enables getting a jobIn the annual European Sales Competition held on 17–19th November 2021, Sjoerd Smeltink negotiated themselves as the winner. According to the judge in the final, Harri Lappalainen, the final was very tight, and the level was tough.

Viudetta Oy and Turku University of Applied Sciences co-developed a technology that facilitates nursingBidet manufacturer Viudetta Oy has piloted a new type of sensor technology combined with a washing and drying toilet bidet in cooperation with Turku University of Applied Sciences' Health Tech Lab and Kunnonkoti. The results of the pilot can be used in the development of software used by nursing homes and home care staff.
