Required documents in order to confirm a study place:

Bachelor's degree programmes

  • Qualifications taken outside Finland (does not apply to EU/EEA citizens graduating in spring/summer 2017)
  • Official translations of the certificates, which are not written in Finnish, English or Swedish
  • European Baccalaureate / International Baccalaureate / Reiferprüfung Diplomas (those graduating during the application period to submit a Predicted grades or equivalent)
  • Finnish Matriculation Examinations (“ylioppilastutkinto”) completed before 1990
  • Decisions to grant asylum or residence permits issued on the basis of a need for protection of refugees or applicants in a refugee-like situation
  • Passport or identity card to indicate the citizenship of EU/EEA/Switzerland (not required from Finnish citizens)
  • Residence permit card in Finland
  • Discretionary admission: Russian citizens who apply to the Bachelor of Business Administration, International Business Online and will complete their education and receive their final certificate in summer 2017 can apply to TUAS with a temporary certificate and an authorized translation of it.

  • Qualifications completed in Finland
  • EU/EEA citizens' foreign qualifications completed in spring/summer 2017
  • Official translations of the certificates, which are not written in Finnish, English or Swedish
  • European Baccalaureate / International Baccalaureate / Reiferprüfung Diplomas completed in spring 2017 (final grades of applicants who complete an IB diploma during the application period (Transcript of grades)
  • Enrollment as absent: documents proving the legal grounds for the absence
  • Passport or identity card to indicate the citizenship of EU/EEA/Switzerland (not required from Finnish citizens)
  • Residence permit card in Finland

Master's degree programmes

  • Foreign qualifications (does not apply to EU/EEA citizens graduating in spring 2017)
  • Official translations of the certificates, which are not written in Finnish, English or Swedish
  • Decisions to grant asylum or residence permits issued on the basis of a need for protection of refugees or applicants in a refugee-like situation
  • Passport or identity card to indicate the citizenship of EU/EEA/Switzerland (not required from Finnish citizens)
  • Residence permit card in Finland
  • Qualifications completed in Finland
  • EU/EEA citizens' foreign qualifications completed in spring 2017
  • Official translations of the certificates, which are not written in Finnish, English or Swedish
  • Work certificates
  • Enrolment as absent: documents proving the legal grounds for the absence
  • An applicant is responsible of delivering all the required documents by the deadline.
  • An applicant who is not able to deliver his/her documents online can send them to TUAS Admissions Office by post. Please note that the documents must arrive to the Admissions Office by the deadline and possible delays/problems in postal delivery do not take away applicant's responsibility of delivering all the required documents by the deadline. Documents will not be returned to applicants.
  • If you are a refugee or in a refugee-like situation in Finland and you cannot prove your qualification through documentary evidence, you can deliver a decision made by a competent authority concerning your refugee status instead.
  • Russian citizens who will complete their education and receive their final certificate in summer 2017 can apply to TUAS Bachelor of Business Administration, International Business Online with a temporary certificate and an authorized translation of it submitted by 8 February 2017 at 3:00 p.m. Finnish time. The final degree certificate must be ready by 14 of July 2017 at the latest.
