The Finnish-language website of Turku University of Applied Sciences, www.turkuamk.fi, was published at the end of 2013 and the English-language website, www.tuas.fi, in spring 2014. The website is designed to be responsive; it will adjust the view based on the device used. The user experience is the same no matter whether it is a mobile device or desktop computer that is being used.
For whom the new website is intended (by navigation bar titles):
• Study at TUAS: individuals interested in studying at TUAS (degree studies, exchange studies, open studies)
• Services: corporate clients looking for tailored training solutions
• Research and development: individuals, companies and other organisations, and potential project partners interested in TUAS’ publications, projects and research groups
• About us: all user groups, the media, co-operation partners
The home page of the new website includes the latest news, articles and events, but also information about courses and other training opportunities for which you may enrol. Under the main navigation bar titles, you can find extensive service directories where, by using different search criteria, you can sort or filter for instance degrees, trainings, services and projects.
All the material published on the site is protected by copyright and is owned by Turku University of Applied Sciences.
Our website is designed to work with the most popular combinations of web browsers and operating systems. However, please note that the website works the best when you use the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome or Safari. Older versions do not necessarily support responsive sites.
The attachments used on our website are primarily PDFs. In order to open, view and print these PDF files, you need software, such as Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded free at http://www.adobe.com.
Should you come across any errors or inaccuracies in our service, please let us know and we will do our best to correct them promptly. We also warmly welcome all development ideas concerning the website! Please send your message to us by using the feedback form available at the top of each page of our website.
