Longer opening hours in Arts Library Sigyn started August 28th 2023
Turku UAS campus library, Arts Library Sigyn, have had longer opening hours from the beginning of the fall term. Starting August 28th 2023 the library has been open for self-service from 8 am to 8 pm.
During self-service hours, you can access the library with your library card and PIN code. You can read books and journals, search information, borrow library materials and return your loans. Computers and a printer are also available for use. The library now also has tablet computers, Hublets, to borrow. You can loan them with your library card and PIN code for two hours at a time.
The library staff is present during service hours . During that time, we serve you in matters relating to your library card, patron information and charged items, and give advice on how to use the library. During service hours, the library staff guides you in searching for information, locating and reserving materials, and borrowing and returning materials using the self-service machine, so that you will know how to use the library during the self-service hours.
