Health Campus offers an inspiring operating environment for studies, research, innovations and corporate collaboration. The cooperation involves Turku University of Applied Sciences, the Hospital District of Southwest Finland, the University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University and Novia University of Applied Sciences. The collaborating parties promote research and cooperation, education as well as innovation and business activities.
The teaching, research and innovation activities of the Health Campus operators support the internationally recognized high-quality special health care provided by the local university hospital. The objective is to develop interdisciplinary expertise in line with the targets of the health and social services reform.

In addition to participating in the Health Campus collaboration, we take part in Turku Future Technologies (TFT) cooperation, the aim of which is to strengthen the technological expertise as well as the recognition and appeal of Turku region and the south-western coast as the competence cluster in the field. A significant aspect in the education is to complete practical trainings and thesis work in collaboration with regional businesses; in this respect, the higher education institutes participating can utilize the TFT networks.
