30.11. Alumni Afterwork: Challenging yourself in cross-cultural situations
The art of cross-cultural communication is increasingly important in today’s digitalized working environments. How do we ensure that our messages aren’t misinterpreted? How can we train our intercultural skills?
In the 3rd and final Alumni Afterwork of 2017, you will learn the dos and don’ts of cross-cultural communication and leave with fresh ideas on how to develop your intercultural competence. The event will be conducted in English and we warmly welcome all international and international-minded TUAS alumni to network with fellow graduates.
The keynote of the evening is by TUAS Senior Lecturer Ms Susanna Saari, who was recently elected as President of SKÅL International (Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals). She will discuss the cross-cultural skills relevant to her own, internationally recognized career in the field of travel and tourism.
The event is free of charge (incl. coffee & snack) for TUAS alumni. Register before 27th November here.
