Privacy policy on the TUAS website
Turku University of Applied Sciences Ltd (hereinafter “TUAS”) collects information about the users of its website. Processing of user data helps develop the technical maintenance and evolution of the TUAS website. The primary purpose is to improve services on the website. Furthermore, TUAS collects user data for communications and marketing maintenance, analysis and development.
User data statistics application
The website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics and visitor tracking application. The application collects statistical data anonymously without identifying individual visitors. Contact form
On the TUAS website, we use a contact form where users are requested to provide their email addresses. The information provided in the contact form is transmitted to the correct party at TUAS according to the enquiry type (general enquiry, renting facilities, feedback on the website, recruitment need, projects, need for a service or training, admissions, library, etc.).
The person responsible for the service will respond to the email address provided by the user. Data may be forwarded within the organization, where appropriate, in order for TUAS to be able to handle the service request from the customer.
Data provided in the contact form will be saved in TUAS’ server. Each year, a report is compiled from the data provided in the contact form, including the enquiry type and reason, in order for TUAS to develop and analyse its service processes. No user contact information is saved in the annual report. When contact information is no longer needed, it will be destroyed.
