Representatives of the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, Visit Turku on 15–16 Feb – Collaboration with TUAS Under PlanningTurku University of Applied Sciences (TUAS) established a Letter of Intent with the University of Strathclyde in December regarding future cooperation. The agreement on cooperation is an outcome of the joint visit by representatives of the City of Turku and TUAS to the University of Strathclyde in late November.

Pekka Talmola nominated as TUAS FellowThe TUAS Fellow expert scheme, established in 2016 by Turku University of Applied Sciences (TUAS), aims at promoting the stakeholder collaboration between the higher education institution and the surrounding society. The most recently nominated TUAS Fellow expert is Pekka Talmola, who has cooperated with ICT trainers since early 1990s.

TUAS to develop an electric rallycross car in cooperation with 3DTech Oy3DTech Oy, a company specializing in 3D printing technology, and Turku University of Applied Sciences have signed a cooperation agreement on designing and printing components to an electric rallycross car. The project forms a new learning and research environment that aims to keep up with the fast developing field of electric car engineering.

In the first joint application period of this year, Turku University of Applied Sciences offered three degree programmes conducted in English in the field of business, engineering and health care.
