Get involved with mentoring!
Dear alumnus/alumna! TUAS organizes mentoring activities for students and we are looking for enthusiastic mentors to join. The mentoring programme is aimed for Turku UAS students with an international or migrant background. The mentor doesn’t need to have previous experience, all mentors are coached for the role.
The aim of mentoring is to support towards the Finnish working life or studies. The mentoring provides rewarding moments and insights also for the mentors. It develops the mentor's language and guidance skills and gives new perspectives on the mentor's own work, profession and Finnish labour market. Don’t hesitate to hop in, details of the mentoring is always arranged and discussed individually.
In year 2021, the language and guidance services for immigrant students will be launched and one of the activities is mentoring towards working life and studies. As a mentor, you can also develop the activities of Turku UAS.
