Timo Holopainen from Turku UAS elected to Academic Association of Sales Engineering board
Dr. Timo Holopainen from Turku UAS elected to AASE board. The Academic Association of Sales Engineering (AASE) aims at promoting and establishing Sales Engineering as a separate profession, renown by industry, politics and future students.
AASE - Academic Association of Sales Engineering Annual Assembly 2021 was arranged virtually on May 12th. AASE general assembly re-elected the board of the AASE: Thomas Roehr from ESTA (France) will lead the board, whereas Timo Holopainen from Turku UAS (Finland) answers for finances, Thomas Berger from DHBW (Germany) is responsible for research and education and Kati Lang from UA Düsseldorf (Germany) is accountable for strategy and development.
Furthermore, the AASE general assembly decided to launch certifications for education partners in sales engineering. To enhance sales engineering education, it was determined to waive fees for this for current members – as Thomas Roehr stated "this is aimed to increase visibility and quality of sales engineering education". On these grounds, AASE will follow its commitment to be the platform for technical sales education, research and projects.
