Turku UAS and Ukrainian KhAI to commence collaboration in research and education

The National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” (KhAI) and Turku UAS have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in connection with the Ukrainian university’s three-day visit to Turku.

The collaboration to be specified at a later stage contains e.g. research cooperation in the field of information technology and researcher and student exchanges.

KhAI is located in Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine. The collaboration supports the twin city activities of Turku and Kharkiv.

–It is a pleasure to get to build entirely new cooperation with an experienced university. By combining the top competences of the two higher education institutions, we can build a safer and more sustainable future for both regions, states Vesa Taatila, Rector and President of Turku UAS.
