TUAS Ltd has a new management

PhD Vesa Taatila will start in the new post of Rector and President of Turku University of Applied Sciences on 1 October 2014. Taatila will move to TUAS from the post of Vice Rector at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. In addition, the Board of TUAS Ltd has in its meeting on 17 September 2014 appointed new managers for the organisation.

Vice Rector, PhD Juhani Soini is responsible for the education and innovation services of TUAS. M.Pol.Sc. Sami Savolainen started on 1 September 2014 in the new post of Director of Services, and is responsible for the higher education and administrative services. In the preparation stage of the limited liability company, Savolainen acted as Managing Director of TUAS Ltd.

TUAS has a faculty of Development and Administration and four teaching faculties. Four Heads of Education and Research have been appointed for each teaching faculty.

The Heads of Education and Research will start in their new posts on 1 January 2015 and will also manage the operations of the research groups in their field. Get to know TUAS’ research groups.

The new Heads in the faculty of Development and Administration will start in their posts already on 1 October 2014.
