TUAS library self-checkout

Self-service pick-up of reservations introduced at TUAS library

Self-service options are widening to picking up reservations. Self-service borrowing is available at almost all campus libraries, and now reservations can be easily collected on a self-service basis.

You are able to pick up your reserved items from the reservations shelf instead of queueing to the library service desk. You will be notified by email which informs you that the item you reserved is available for pick-up, at which campus library the reserved item is and when you need to pick-up the item at latest.

Bring your library card when picking up your reserved item

You need your library card when picking up your reserved item, as you find your item from the reservations shelf according to your library card number. Note that the reserved item is not yet on loan for you!

Inter-campus loan requests and other requested items are collected on a self-service basis as well.

Please ask for help at the library in case you do not find your reserved item or cannot borrow it!

Fees for reserving and requesting inter-campus loans

Reserving and requesting inter-campus loans is free of charge for TUAS students and staff as well as customers eligible under library agreements (students and staff of Turku Conservatory of Music and Dance, Diaconia UAS Turku Unit, Turku Vocational Institute Uudenmaantie Unit).

For other customers reservations and inter-campus loan requests are a fee-based services.
