At work: More expertise in mathematical modelling for Turku University of Applied Science

Turku University of Applied Sciences has significantly increased its research staff's expertise in mathematical modelling through new personnel recruitment. Ashvin Chaudhari, Rabia Altunay, and Fatemeh Ardaneh have begun their work as researchers in the Computational Engineering and Analysis research group in early this autumn.

Decorations awarded to members of Turku UAS staff

On Independence Day, the President of the Republic of Finland confers decorations upon citizens who have distinguished themselves in the service of Finland. From Turku UAS, decorations have been awarded to Ursula Hyrkkänen, Raimo Pärssinen, Liisa-Maria Lilja-Viherlampi, Markku Ikonen, Renja Leino-Andersson, Anne Merta and Ilkka Uusitalo.

Find Your Future fair connected students and companies

The first career and recruitment fair “Find Your Future” organized by Turku UAS was held on 10th November at Kupittaa Campus. The fair gathered companies and students together and offered possibilities to learn and upgrade the job search skills.

Textile business, circular economy and legal issues. Susanna Monseau, who will work as a Fulbright scholar at Turku University of Applied Sciences until early 2023, is interested in fashion trademarks, the way in which they are regulated internationally and how all this relates to the creation of a circular economy in textiles.
