ActiveWorkSpace – Environmental satisfaction in active-based offices
Spatial Solutions for Environmental Satisfaction, Well-being and Work Engagement in Activity-based Offices. Space, lighting and acoustics supporting flexible working and workspace choice
The aim of the project is to identify central features of spatial solutions in activity-based offices that support employees’ environmental satisfaction, well-being at work and work engagement.
Project includes both laboratory experiments and field interventions about the effects of environmental factors on environmental satisfaction. Furthermore, the efficiency of various room acoustic factors to solve the problems related to noise and speech privacy are investigated.

Consortion project is implemented by University of Oulu (Oulu school of architecture) , Finnish Institute of Occupational Health and Turku University of Applied Sciences (Indoor environment research group).
