CreDev – Creativity Development in Adult Education 2017–2019

The starting point for the project is the increasing significance of creativity in the future working life.  Employers expect cooperation skills, critical and analytical thinking competences, decision-making skills and the ability to develop creative procedures from their employees. According to research, by 2020 creativity will be one of the key working life skills. However, creativity is not an automation. Instead, it requires new ways of thinking on workplaces and simultaneously challenges the parties offering both formal and informal learning to develop their teaching and guidance methods.

Objectives

The objective of the project is to develop and test teaching methods that enhance creativity. The key target groups are trainers working in organizations and educational institutes as well as adult learners. The most important tangible result of the project is the "Creativity Training Methodology" toolkit, a collection of materials and best practices gathered from the project partners and other organizations accompanied by materials and tools created during the project. The methods developed will be utilized in practice as extensively as possible.  The project will promote innovation as well as exchange of experience and know-how between those working with adult learners in Finland, Latvia and Lithuania.
