Towards sustainable textile systems: co-developing a resource-wise global textile business in Finland (FINIX). The consortium, led by Aalto University, is conducting a broad-based study on the transformation of the textile sector into a more sustainable industry. The role of Turku University of Applied Sciences is to examine systemic change in the textile sector from the perspective of governance: should change be driven by legislation, voluntary governance developed by companies and NGOs, or a combination of all these? The perspective of systemic change can also be applied to regulatory ecosystems, which is the role of Turku University of Applied Sciences in this consortium.
