Making public transport digital services more age-friendly

Making public transport digital services more age-friendly

Older people are still a population with a high threshold for accessing digital services. One problem with digital training is that what is learned is quickly forgotten if it is not used on a daily basis. However, it is often one-off or course-based and reinforcement is not provided often enough. Older people also show a clear sensitivity to digital services.
The project aims to extend the FÖLIKAVERI activity developed in Turku to the sub-regional level, to develop, together with older people, support methods for the use of FÖLI digital services, such as accompanying portable memory refresher cards and an animated video on the challenges faced by older people. In addition, a website in plain language will be created for FÖLI based on the development work with older people.
