Shared leadership in project teams – The evolvement and development of shared leadership and its outcomes to productivity and well-being
This research project examines the emergence of shared leadership in project teams at different stages of the project life cycle. Although there is robust research on the importance of shared leadership and its consequences has been actively studied, we have scarce knowledge of how shared leadership emerges and develops in teams.
The key objective of this research project is to increase understanding of the emergence and development of shared leadership in project teams, to explore shared leadership through network theories, and to explore the effects of shared leadership on team performance and well-being.
The research project is implemented as a joint project with the Management and Organization Unit of the University of Turku School of Economics. The target organizations are Bayer Oy, PerkinElmer Wallac Oy and the City Administration of the City of Turku.
