SIVISOTE - Development of Child and Family Services and Management
The aim of the SIVISOTE research group is the development of service structures and designing new service concepts for the needs of children, youths and families. The research group cooperates with organizations in basic and vocational education, early childhood education and social services and health care.
The research group’s focus areas are:
- a multi-actor family center – a low-threshold service network, which provides comprehensive help for families with children in their everyday environments at the right time
- promoting well-being at school and studies – a community-oriented school and functional student welfare services
- integrated, joint child protection – multi-actor child protection services in cooperation with social work, early childhood education, basic and vocational education and health care services
- coordinating management of the service network including the basic and vocational education, early childhood education and social services and health care – the services as a harmonious service entity and experience.
