Turku University of Applied Sciences (TUAS) contributes to the development of the library sector in Africa. In small communities, libraries are valuable promoters of equality, well-being and knowledge.

A 40% reduction in residence hall electricity bills
The residence hall on the Salo campus of TUAS brought energy issues to the fore. Its electricity consumption decreased by 40% in just two years. Special attention has also been paid to cleanliness, neighbourliness and a pleasant living environment.

Waste Management Know-how to the Baltic Countries

Professor Steve Rook’s artist residency in the Department of Dance, Turku Arts Academy included his teaching Graham dance technique and creating the original choreography titled, "Plate Tectonics" with music by Zach Hemsey, for 24 dance students.
